LearnPath Recommendation Study
Thank you for volunteering. This study takes about 10 minutes.
You will step into a learner's shoes, look at three lists of
maths-exercise recommendations, rate each list, and answer a few questions.
There are no right answers.
What you will do
- Read a short profile of a real learner (their progress, not yours).
- Answer 5 quick questions about your own background (anonymous).
- Look at three lists (List 1, 2, 3) of 10 recommendations each -- you do not know which method produced which list.
- For each list: rate 6 statements (1-5), pick the one item you would take as the next step, and note anything that seems unreasonable.
- Answer two final questions (an attention check, and whether the three lists felt different).
Your data
- Responses are anonymous. We record a random ID, your background answers, and your ratings.
- To help detect duplicate submissions we store a one-way hash of your IP address (not the IP itself) and a random ID kept in your browser; neither can identify you.
- The recommendations come from a real learner's profile on the Junyi Academy dataset; they are not about you.
- You can stop at any time. Closing the browser exits the study.
